Personal Summary: Born in Washington State, Nicole enjoys a large variety of hobbies, and she explores new ones at every opportunity. Running is one of her favorite activities, and she particularly enjoys exploring neighborhoods, trails, and parks with her dog, Wimbledon, a rescued British terrier mix from New Orleans. She enjoy crafting, mostly paper cards and wall pieces, which Nicole previously sold in my own Etsy shop. Nicole also refurbishes furniture, and recently completed her largest project yet: refinishing an old apartment in an Ann Arbor historic neighborhood.
Professional Summary: While in school, Nicole won the University of Michigan Hospital “Making a Difference” Award for delivering outstanding, patient-centered care. Before leaving for Michigan, she attended University of Washington in Seattle, where she obtained her degree in biology. She continued her education in Detroit Michigan as Wayne State University School of Medicine. At the University of Michigan, she won University of Michigan Medical School “Team Player” Award for fostering positivity and collaboration among peers during third year clinical rotations. During the summer of 2013, she developed and established new site of multi-center trauma study at the University of Cincinnati.
