Kevin Glover, MD

University of Washington School of Medicine

I came to medicine later in life, having enjoyed several years of working as a rafting and mountaineering guide in my 20’s. I received his MD from the University of Washington, where I participated in the school’s Targeted Rural Underserved Training Track. Public health and health equity are important to me, and during medical school I was extensively involved in outreach clinics and led a study on healthcare access for refugees in the Spokane area. I chose Kootenai Family Medicine Residency for the outstanding teaching faculty and full-spectrum training opportunities.

Clinically my interests include musculoskeletal medicine and using ultrasound to increase the quality of care. I hope to create a welcoming environment for LGBTQ patients in Northern Idaho. Outside of residency, I am actively involved with the Pisacano Leadership Foundation which works to advance leadership in Family Medicine. In my personal life, I enjoy biking, hiking, fishing and taking camper van trips with my wife and two dogs. I am also a classically trained pianist, but I just play for fun now.
