Personal Summary:
Peter, along with his wife and three kids, is joining us from Salt Lake City, Utah. He loves spending time with family doing various activities including hiking, biking, playing the piano, or simply going to neighborhood parks with his kids. Peter was also an NCAA Division I baseball pitcher for Utah Valley University and enjoys playing any pick-up game of football, basketball, or tennis.
Professional Summary:
Peter graduated with his bachelor’s degree in behavioral science and was his class valedictorian at Utah Valley University. He then attended University of Utah School of Medicine where he served as president of the Family Medicine Interest Group and was on the board for the Utah Academy of Family Physicians. During medical school, he was part of the Gold Humanism and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Societies and was a manager for a local homeless clinic. Following graduation, he received the Outstanding Senior in Family Medicine Award, the Gold-Headed Cane Award for exemplary interest in patient care, and the Dean’s Award for superior scholarship, outstanding performance, compassionate care, and dedication during medical education. Peter enjoys practicing full-spectrum family medicine including obstetrics, pediatrics, and geriatric medicine with particular interests in mental health, sports medicine, and in-office procedures.
