Summary
It is an honor to be a family medicine doctor and to travel through life with the families that I take care of. What initially attracted me to family medicine was the challenges of a diverse patient population and the continuity of care that extended through obstetrics, pediatrics and internal medicine. I have a special interest in pediatrics, obstetrics/women’s health and integrative medicine focusing on health and nutrition and preventive care.
I attended college and medical school at the University of Washington. In college I was a cheerleader for UW and I still love supporting the UW Huskies football and basketball teams. I graduated from UW School of Medicine with High Honors and was the President of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. After residency in Portland, my husband and I moved to Coeur d’Alene in 2013 where I was excited to join the residency program at its inception and be a part of building the incredible program we have now. I love teaching and training the next generation of doctors. The energy and passion I see in medical students and residents is inspiring in my own clinical practice.
In my spare time my husband and I enjoy spending time with our young son and active dog and we love to travel, cook, and spend time outdoors in our beautiful community.
