Our curriculum prepares residents to confidently practice the full spectrum of family medicine in any community — from urban clinics to rural hospitals. As an unopposed residency program, residents benefit from exceptional access to hands-on learning, procedural experience, leadership opportunities, and meaningful clinical responsibility across every stage of training.
Our curriculum is built around patient-centered, team-based care and equips residents with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to care for patients of all ages in outpatient, inpatient, obstetric, pediatric, emergency, and community settings.
Residents learn alongside an interdisciplinary team of physicians, pharmacists, behavioral health specialists, nurses, medical students, and advanced practice providers in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
Beyond our comprehensive core curriculum, residents can personalize their training through elective experiences and individualized learning pathways in areas such as sports medicine, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), women’s health, rural medicine, global health, wilderness medicine, and more — allowing each resident to build the skills and career they envision.
