I have wanted to be a doctor since I was a kid, and pretty early on I knew it would be family medicine. I love the broad scope of the specialty and the close, trusting relationships you build with patients over time — being the person who bridges the gaps in their care. I’m especially drawn to rural, full-spectrum practice with particular interests in obstetrics and sports medicine, and I like to be hands-on: the more procedures, the better. I’ve called Billings, Montana home for the past six years.

Coeur d’Alene has felt like a second home since childhood — I grew up visiting family in Post Falls and Sandpoint — and when I completed a sub-internship here, the residents and faculty welcomed me like they’d known me all year. That genuine sense of community is why I chose this program. Outside the hospital, my husband and I love being out on the lake, snowboarding, and camping with our two dogs, Koba and Knox, or just relaxing in the sunshine with friends. I’ve also recently gotten back into reading and joined a book club.
