University of Cincinnati College of Medicine

I grew up in Idaho and earned my medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. I chose family medicine because it allows me to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and partner with them through every stage of life. I’m particularly interested in preventive care and enjoy helping patients make sustainable changes that improve their health, well-being, and overall quality of life.

I chose Kootenai’s Family Medicine Residency for its strong training environment, supportive faculty, and broad clinical experiences — I knew the program would provide the foundation to become a well-rounded physician capable of caring for patients across a wide range of settings. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife, young son, and our dog; one of my favorite things about living in Coeur d’Alene is the quick and easy access to hiking, cycling, and countless other outdoor activities. I also enjoy woodturning and appreciate the creativity and problem-solving that comes with building things by hand.
