Laura Wheeling, MD

My philosophy of care is rooted in listening and collaboration. I take time to understand each patient’s unique story and goals, working with them to create personalized care plans that support both their health and overall well-being. I strive to build lasting, trusting relationships where patients feel valued, respected, and heard.

I practice an integrative model of care that combines evidence-based medicine with non-medication approaches when appropriate. By coordinating closely with other providers, I help ensure continuity and stability, so patients feel supported through every step of their journey.

My inspiration to become a physician came from my own childhood experience with a pediatrician who treated me with compassion as well as clinical skill. That early influence shaped the way I approach medicine today—with empathy, respect, and a commitment to helping patients feel both cared for and understood.

Outside of work, I enjoy time with my husband and our two cats, and I love exploring the outdoors in my home state of Idaho.
