Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine

I grew up in Ohio, and earned my degree in biology from The Ohio State University, where a first hiking trip out west sparked a love for the outdoors that shaped everything after it. I moved to Nevada for medical school so I could keep the mountains close while pursuing my career, and along the way discovered how much I love the variety of family medicine — you never know what is going to walk through the office door. My professional interests include sports medicine, procedures, dermatology, wilderness medicine, and rural full-spectrum care. I hope to one day live and practice in a small town where I can build strong relationships within my community.

I chose Kootenai because the program offers the support and resources I need to become a broad-spectrum family physician — with world-class outdoor access right out the front door. Outside the hospital you’ll find us skiing, hiking, camping, trail running, trying new restaurants and recipes, or hosting board game nights (Catan, especially). I’m excited to get involved in the local outdoors and sports communities and to serve the people of North Idaho.
