Tatem Fredrickson, DO

Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine

I was raised in Boise, Idaho, and I love the breadth of skills and knowledge that family medicine offers. Medicine, for me, is relational at its core — I thrive on the connections I build with the patients I serve — and family medicine lets me pair those relationships with the areas I’m most passionate about: sports medicine, procedures, lifestyle medicine, and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. My clinical training took me from rural Idaho and Washington to Florida and even rural India, experiences that confirmed I want a practice broad enough to meet patients wherever they are.

I chose Kootenai because I was looking for full-scope family medicine training that lets me explore all of my interests and prepares me to practice in any setting. We’re thrilled to be back enjoying the area’s beauty alongside our German Shepherd puppy, Luda. Outside of work I love hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and camping, staying active with weightlifting, Pilates, and soccer, playing piano, browsing thrift stores, and traveling somewhere new whenever I can.
